Activities

MCC has several investment vehicles and asset management corporations, trusts and foundations in Luxembourg, North America and Europe each undertaking highly specialized financial activities. These activities are undertaken in close cooperation with investment banks, institutions operating on capital markets, hedge funds, (multi) family offices. MCC engineers smart tax structures and debt instruments tailored to each specific business case.like corporate and investment bonds
Securitization
One of our core capabilities is the securitization of bankable assets like real estate, off-take contracts, commodities but especially financial instruments like Medium Term Notes, Sovereign Bonds, SBLC's Bank Guarantees etc. These assets are assigned to MCC with the purpose to use as collateral and raise debt against it.
Monetization
Once the collateral assignment of the (pooled) assets has been completed MCC obtains a credit. Depending on the quality of the asset the credit could amount up to 80% LTV. MCC uses the LTV eiher to invest directly in projects however inmost cases the LTV will used in specific capital enhanced or leveraged investment programs of global top-25 investment banks.
Leverage
The (pooled) LTV is invested in capital-protected, high-yield investment instruments from global top-100 banks. Programs are repeated (with compounding returns) for a fixed duration until the targeted yield has been accomplished. The credit is reimbursed and the net proceeds become available for capital investments.
Invest
The net proceeds are invested in ESG eligible projects in format of long term, low interest loans granted to qualified projects/companies. Such loans are granted by MCC's own asset management firms often via tax favorable structures like investment bonds and other structured debt instruments.
Capitalize
Next to the loans, MCC takes a significant security interest (risk premium) in these projects/companies with the objective to obtain sustantial capital gains when exiting from its investments (IPO, sale of asets, merger). The principal invested capital and proceeds (capital gains) become available and are re-invested in new opportunities.
